Techdirt: Someone In Congress Actually Understands Mixtapes And Mashups?

Techdirt: Someone In Congress Actually Understands Mixtapes And Mashups?
I'm actually impressed by my local congressional representative. Yes, he is my rep and I know this because of the other way he (sort of) impressed me...I filled out an online petition to 'save net radio' from the new fees the feds are trying to charge them per listener (which is a travesty), and it forwarded my petition to my local rep...which happens to be Mike Doyle, and from whom I received not only an e-mail response, but a snail mail response too - stating that he is very concerned, blah blah blah. At the time, I thought it interesting but still boilerplate, but now I'm getting the sense that this might be one of a very scant few in congress who actually 'gets' new technology and media...somewhat. You go, Mike.
